Attention: MV Agusta F4 1000 R and Senna 1000 Owners
Following consistent monitoring of product quality, there is evidence of a possible malfunction of the TIMING CHAIN TENSIONER, which could prevent the correct function of the engine.
It is consequently necessary to replace the TIMING CHAIN TENSIONER on the following motorcycle's
• MODEL F4 1000 R MY 06 from Ch No 6V004490 to No 7V005793 Inclusive
• MODELLO F4 1000 SENNA MY 06 from Ch No 6V004451 to No, 6V005396
We request that the replacement of the TIMING CHAIN TENSIONER is carried out as soon as possible, by recalling all of your clients and owners with applicable Chassis Numbers.
We require you to follow the regular procedure for parts orders and warranty reimbursement requests:
1. Send normal replacement parts order quoting code 8000A5206.
2. Send normal warranty request for settlement of parts and labor. In addition to complete details of the motorcycle and replacement code, report the following ;
• Operation Number: B999
• Labor Time: 2 Hours
• Damage code: 099
• Special warranty code: 2756
In the notes make reference to the technical bulletin 75.
3. Reimbursement for warranty will be made with a credit note as in normal circumstances.
