MV Agusta and Luca Scassa Win the Appeal
After the appeal presented by MV Agusta to the CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) against the FIM’s decision to disqualify Luca Scassa at the STK World Championship’s Imola race, the Court declared MV Agusta and Luca Scassa winner of the appeal.

Thanks to this, Luca Scassa has received back the 25 points conquered at the Imola track last October 1st 2006.

MV Agusta and Luca Scassa are extremely satisfied with the result of the appeal which confirms the good faith of both Factory and rider.

Finally, justice is served..but far too late to amend the damage the decision made to the team spirit and Luca'sfor the last race in france...nonetheless credit is due to Polita who won the championship...however one can't help but wonder what would have happened if such a "wrong" decision hadn't been made that day....
